A new initiative from the National Endowment for the Arts aims to expand access to arts participation in our country. A partnership with South Arts and in collaboration with the other five U.S. Regional Arts Organizations, ArtsHERE will provide non-matching grant support for organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to equity within their practices and programming. Grants will fund specific projects that will strengthen grantees’ capacity to sustain meaningful community engagement and increase arts participation for underserved groups/communities. ArtsHERE is also a knowledge-sharing endeavor, with peer-learning and technical assistance opportunities for grantees. Working with grantees throughout the projects, the NEA also plans to report on lessons learned from this pilot initiative, which may inform the future of ArtsHERE and other similar funding programs and practices.

Applications are welcome from organizations that are diverse in terms of geography, scale of operations, and focus of arts programming; as well as organizations that work at the intersection of the arts and other domains, such as community development, health/well-being, climate/environment, or economic development.

Join other arts educators and supervisors for this new year-long series! Participants will engage in facilitated dialogue as well as peer-to-peer learning, to actively explore approaches to teaching and learning that empower student artists. This series will feature examples that model holistic implementation of the 2020 NJSLS-VPA, with focus on planning and assessment, to support the range of student populations in classrooms today.

Open to all GSWS active residents 18 and over who reside in NJ, NY, PA, or DE. The GSWS Annual Members Exhibition provides active GSWS member artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in a non-juried, all inclusive exhibition. Awards will be presented in Signature water media, Associate Water Media and non-water media areas. Best in Show award given in water media category only.

Hamilton Street Gallery, located in downtown Bound Brook, New Jersey, is an exhibition space for contemporary visual art. We welcome both emerging and established artists residing in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. All media is considered and we encourage work that is new and experimental. There will be 6 annual group exhibits, some of which will be juried and curated by our gallery staff, and others by guest curators. Shows will run between 6 and 8 weeks. They will be thematic and versatile in nature, ranging from whimsical to the audacious, providing artists with the means to articulate their ideas about the world.

Size: All art must be 8" x 8", including the frame, or smaller. 3D art can't be larger than 8" x 8" and is for pedestal display only.

If you have any questions, feel free to email Diane at diane@rrcarts.com. We accept all mediums, including 3-D art. Please ensure your art is ready for display when you drop it off. Wall art should be wired and securely framed, while unframed canvases must have finished edges (painted). Each artist can submit up to 5 pieces. | Sales: RRCA artist members will receive a 70% commission on sales, while all other artists will get 60% of the sale price.

Riverfront Renaissance Center | Artful Giving - Calling All Artists! | We're hosting a unique holiday shopping exhibit called "Artful Giving," opening on November 17th and running through December 31st in our Main Gallery. We're looking for artists like you to participate! | What's special about this exhibit? It's a "cash and carry" gift shop where visitors can buy your art right on the spot. We're on the hunt for a variety of items, including jewelry, woodworking, small original art or prints, cards, glass, fiber art, ceramics, and any other unique creations you might have. The South Jersey Cultural Alliance is excited to invite our members to participate in our Virtual Holiday Market. This holiday season, we want to bring the magic of art and culture directly to patrons in the region, and we need you, our talented artists, to make it happen!

Selected artists receive 80% consignment and are sent payment at the end of each month.

Supporting Our Community

By participating in the Virtual Holiday Market, you gain exposure as an artist and contribute to the broader arts & culture community. 20% of the proceeds from this Virtual Holiday Market will directly go to administrative costs.

Eligibility Requirements:

• An SJCA Member
• Social Media and or online portfolio
• 2-3 pieces available for sale (aka prints, paintings, sculptures, crafts, pottery, clay, etc)
• Application completed before the deadline
• Needs to be able to submit a W9
• Created without using AI

South Jersey Cultural Alliance is excited to announce an open call for artists in South Jersey to participate as vendors at the Stockton Performing Arts Center. SJCA is seeking artists focusing on art and illustration during the intermission of Odyssey. Artists must have prints, stickers, or any other materials available to sell. Artists will be able to sell and share their work among visitors at the performance and emphasize the importance of South Jersey arts.

Details: This opportunity is for Friday, November 10, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM and during the show's intermission. Artists are free to attend the show. The deadline to confirm your attendance at the table is Friday, November 3, 2023.
