
Cultural Education with the Symphony
Symphony Concerts for students Grades K-5. Classes and demonstrations at schools for Grades K-3. Music Master Classroom Programs, Assembly Programs and Performances for Grades K-12. The Symphony, which reaches more 15,000 students each year through its Music Matters educational programs, has a tradition of educational excellence, bringing music into the lives of students and adults of all ages and abilities. It has received numerous local and statewide awards for its multi-disciplinary educational programs, and was recently selected as one of three orchestras in the United States to receive the 2004 MetLife Award for Excellence in Community Engagement. Teacher Prep Materials are available and programming is core-curriculum-based.

The nationally-recognized Symphony in C, formerly the Haddonfield Symphony, is one of three professional training orchestras in the United States, preparing musicians and conductors who are on the cusp of world-class careers through concert performances, educational outreach and professional development programs. The Symphony’s musicians are selected from prestigious universities and conservatories in the Mid-Atlantic region including The Curtis Institute of Music, Temple University, The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Princeton University, Rowan University, and The Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Alumni of The Symphony hold positions with major orchestras worldwide including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, just to name a few.
