A Festival of Strings

A Festival of Strings brings together the works of composers Johannes Brahms and Max Bruch, contemporaries and friends.
The program also reunites alumni from The Perlman Music Program, who are thrilled to explore this beautiful segment of the Romantic Era repertoire. This unusual program pairs Brahms’ String Quintet in F major, a pillar of the repertoire, with Max Bruch’s gorgeous but nearly forgotten String Quintet in E flat major.

The live concert is at The Music Barn, Gloucester County 4-H Fairgrounds, 275 NJ-77, Mullica Hill, NJ. COVID-19 guidelines specify face coverings for all audience, artists, and staff. State regulations limit attendance numbers at live events.

Seating is provided in a covered pavilion or bring-your-own-chair for lawn seating. Refreshments include on-site food trucks and Beer Garden by Center Square Tavern. Driving directions, concert information and ticket links can be found at www.musicatbunkerhill.org.

This program is made possible in part by funding from The Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission at Rowan College of South Jersey, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support is provided by The Presser Foundation.
