This will not be a regular Stories of Atlantic City Artist Meetup—we will not have a schedule for the day, and I will not make you do any strange exercises. We will simply gather together, to enjoy the work we've started.

We're looking for artists like you to participate! | What's special about this exhibit? It's a "cash and carry" gift shop where visitors can buy your art right on the spot. We're on the hunt for a variety of items, including jewelry, woodworking, small original art or prints, cards, glass, fiber art, ceramics, and any other unique creations you might have. Size: All art must be 8" x 8", including the frame, or smaller. 3D art can't be larger than 8" x 8" and is for pedestal display only. - Arts Ed NJ |VPA Supervisor Roundtable| Arts Ed NJ is excited to kick off the VPA Supervisor Roundtable by welcoming Dr. Scott Edgar, Director of Practice and Research at the Center for Arts Education and Social Emotional Learning, to join us for an important discussion about Artistic SEL. First, we will discuss how SEL practices are impacting your district/school/arts classrooms. Then Dr. Edgar will guide participants through strategies to build arts educators’ and administrators’ own social emotional learning (SEL) competencies as they work to support teachers in embedding the SEL goals of Identity, Belonging, and Agency into teaching and learning through the four artistic processes. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Center for Arts Education and Social Emotional Learning) and the resources available to support Artistic SEL professional learning. Participants will engage in facilitated dialogue as well as peer-to-peer learning, to actively explore approaches to teaching and learning that empower student artists.
