The Heart of South Jersey Opening Reception
The Heart of South Jersey exhibit opening reception was a success this past Sunday at Camden County College's Marlin gallery.
Created by Artists Dan & Solly
The collaborative exhibit featured artists from all Southern New Jersey Counties and drew a large turnout, with the gallery space being at capacity for the majority of the opening. The event featured a number of standout performances and presentations, including live music by Rawan Maarouf, who performed her own original compositions, and poetry readings by Paradise Chirsty and Bernard Collins.
Singer Rawan Maarouf.
Paradise Christy, Live Poetry reading.
Bernard Collins, Live Poetry Reading.
Miranda Powell, Visual, Performing & Media Arts Coordinator, also played a key role in the exhibit's success, helping to coordinate and curate the diverse range of artworks on display in collaboration with SJCA's Connector Program.
Overall, the exhibit was a powerful testament to the vibrant and thriving arts scene in South Jersey, and we look forward to seeing more events like this in the future.
