South Jersey Artists Receive New Jersey Heritage Fellowships
The New Jersey State Council on the Arts announced recipients of its Inaugural New Jersey Heritage Fellowships, including five South Jersey artists from South Jersey! Folk and Traditional Arts are artistic traditions of specific ethnic, religious, regional groups, and more. They are often shaped and shared within families and communities throughout generations to continue the histories and heritages of where we come from. The Heritage Fellowships recognize artistic excellence and the contributions towards traditional arts and heritage that highlight the diversity of the state, especially within South Jersey.
The South Jersey Cultural Alliance would like to congratulate the South Jersey artists on receiving the Heritage Fellowship!
