FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South Jersey Cultural Alliance Announces Midtown Make Music Day
Galloway, NJ - June 17, 2024 - South Jersey Cultural Alliance (SJCA) is excited to announce the inauguralMidtown Make Music Day, which will occur on Friday, June 21, 2024, in Brown's Park, Atlantic City. This event aims to provide a unique platform for musicians of all backgrounds and skill levels to share their music with the public and celebrate the power of music in our community.
Make Music Day is unlike any typical music festival. This inclusive event welcomes everyone who wishes to participate, whether young or old, amateur or professional, regardless of their musical style or genre. On this special day, streets, parks, plazas, and porches become stages for musicians to connect with friends, neighbors, and even strangers through the universal language of music.
The event will be free and open to the public, offering residents and visitors a wonderful opportunity to come together and experience our community's rich musical tapestry.
In addition to the live musical performances, Midtown Make Music Day will feature interactive activities and community partners such as:
- Mighty Writers
- Redonkulous Entertainment
- Midtown CDC
- Atlantic Cape Community College
- Angels in Motion
- Atlantic City Arts Foundation
And opportunities for attendees to engage in the music-making process. The event aims to foster a dynamic and inclusive environment where people can explore their own musical interests and be inspired by the talents of others. We are excited to have our two excellent performers, KNomad Nation and Gxld Fvbrk, perform this Friday with the assistance of the amazing DJ Kenzi J from iheartradio!
SJCA invites musicians of all ages and skill levels to participate in Midtown Make Music Day. Whether you are a solo artist, part of a band, or want to organize a community group performance, there is a place for you in this celebration of music.
