South Jersey Cultural Alliance and Midtown Atlantic City CDC are excited to host another 2nd Saturday event on June 10th, 2023, at Atlantic Cape County College in collaboration with Atlantic City‘s North to Shore Programming! This month's theme is ArtWave: Boardwalk Beats & Birders, a vibrant celebration of art, music, environment, and community at Atlantic Cape Community College. This month's event promises to be a feast for the senses, with live music KNomad Nation.
The KNomad Nation is an award-winning Hip Hop group representing Vineland, NJ. The group consists of three talented MCs Divine Wyze, Killa Kellz, and The Lung.
KNomad Nation has graced many stages in several different states, including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, California, and more. These three extraordinary lyricists aim to uplift the minds of their listeners through thought-provoking poetry and soul-stirring beats, along with high-energy performances.
For music lovers of all genres, if you’re looking to tap into the essence of Hip Hop, please lend the KNomad Nation your ears.
We are thrilled to have a fantastic lineup of contributors for our event. We would like to express our gratitude towards organizations such as Forsythe Wildlife Refuge and Stories of AC, the talented author Casey Greico, who has crafted numerous educational books for young children, enabling them to explore and learn about New Jersey's environment, showcase the exceptional artistic abilities of Galicia Graphics, who will be conducting art demonstrations for our attendees. Their captivating artwork promises to inspire and engage the audience. Furthermore, Shine & Go Auto Spa LLC will be hosting an exciting car wash demonstration tailored for kids, providing a fun and educational experience.
Lastly, we extend our appreciation to the dedicated organizers who are diligently preparing for the upcoming Black Excellence Festival, happening on June 16th, that will be tabling to spread the word about the event to the community. Their efforts in promoting and celebrating Black excellence deserve recognition, and we eagerly anticipate the start of this remarkable event. Visitors can also enjoy crafts tables, giveaways, and free snacks to take home at the end of their event!
2nd Saturday for the Midtown Community is a community arts & culture program with different monthly themes funded by the AtlantiCare Foundation.
