- New Jersey DEP and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts | Community-Based Grant Program | The Grant Program, along with the other components of the risk communications campaign, will address the need to involve and inform the public about the coastal hazards impacts they will face and what actions they can take to reduce their risk. To accomplish this, community-based organizations around the coastal zone are selected through a Notice of Funding Availability and are partnered with artists selected through a Call for Artists. The community-based organizations and artists will work together to address the theme of climate resilience and coastal flooding through original, site-specific artwork and community engagement and events. | Deadline: September 5, 2023
- New Jersey State Council on the Arts | Newark Liberty Airport Digital Art Exhibition: The Art of NJ 2024 | The Art of New Jersey digital exhibition is part of a large-scale public art project at the airport’s recently completed Terminal A, focused on creating a transformative customer experience offering a distinctive New Jersey sense of place. The overall goal of the project is to highlight the broad spectrum of talent, opportunity, and cultures that make our state so vibrant. The next installment of this annual exhibition, featuring artwork displayed in the digital welcome banner spanning the departures area of Terminal A will be unveiled in early 2024. Artist’s names and artwork information will be included with the display. Artists should submit up to three (3) examples of completed work to be considered for use. Work samples submitted will be the basis for the Art Advisory Council’s consideration. PANYNJ and their contracted terminal management company, Munich Airport NJ, LLC which is a subsidiary of Munich Airport International, Europe’s only five-star airport, will work with the selected artists to approve final digital image submissions, and schedule the exhibition of the works in digital gallery displays in the terminal. Each selected artist will receive a $1,000 stipend in exchange for use of the artist’s work. Artists will retain copyright to their work. | Deadline: September 12, 2023 | Application
- Young Audiences Arts for Learning | YA Artist Relief Fall 2023 | Any artist living in the State of New Jersey can apply for a relief grant between $1,000 and $2,000. You do NOT have to be a YA artist or an ensemble member of a YA-affiliated group. All applications and awards are granted on an individual basis as opposed to passing through ensembles, arts organizations or business entities. - MyMa | Artist Grant August Edition | MyMA Artist Grant is a monthly juried grant that provides an unrestricted $500 award to one artist each month. In addition to the winner, our independent jurors recognize 5 artists as honorable mentions for each edition. We publish a written or video profile of the selected artists on MyMA's website and social channels. Submissions for the August edition of the MyMA Artist Grant are open now through September 5th. - Burlington County Parks 47th Annual Juried Art Show | Call for Artists| Year after year, artists who enter this show, continue to demonstrate their creativity and innovation and highlight their best works of art.
