2nd Saturday ArtWave: Boardwalk Beats and Birders Re-cap
It was an exhilarating 2nd Saturday on June 10th, 2023, at Atlantic Cape County College in collaboration with Atlantic City’s North to Shore Programming!
At ArtWave: Boardwalk Beats and Birders, our 2nd Saturday celebrated the art, music, environment, and community of Atlantic City with the energetic performance of the The KNomad Nation!
Forsythe Wildlife Refuge and Joshua Gant shared their knowledge and insight into South Jersey’s unique avian and wildlife community and environment. Author Casey Greico joined us at ArtWave: Boardwalk Beats and Birders and generously donated copies of her book during the giveaway alongside the talented author, and artist Garland Holloman of Galicia Graphics showcased their exceptional talents and shared their illustration skills with visitors during the event.

Furthermore, Shine & Go Auto Spa LLC provided an engaging and kid-friendly car-washing activity with toy cars, soap, and brushes.

Organizations such as Stories of AC shared their programming at our event and Black Excellence Festival provided free tickets to visitors for the festival happening on June 16-18 at Showboat Atlantic City!
ArtWave: Boardwalk Beats and Birders kicked off the summer in an exceptional way with crafts, giveaways, activities, and snacks as we enjoyed the exciting beats of the KNomad Nation, thanks to all of our participants!
We would like to give a special shout-out to Council Members Kaleem Shabazz & Aaron Randolph "Sporty," who stopped by during our event to enjoy the festivities and provide wonderful and inspiring speeches to everyone in attendance.
2nd Saturday for the Midtown Community is a community arts & culture program with different monthly themes funded by the AtlantiCare Foundation.
ANNOUNCEMENT: There will be NO 2nd Saturday for the month of July. Join us again for 2nd Saturday programming on August 12th at Browns Park at 11 AM!
