2024 Vendor Opportunities
South Jersey Cultural Alliance is excited to announce an open call for artists in South Jersey to participate as vendors at the Stockton Performing Arts Center in the Spring. SJCA is seeking artists focusing on visuals, arts, crafts, and sculpture before the show and during the intermission of their upcoming programming. Artists must have prints, stickers, or any other materials available and ready to sell to sell. Artists can sell and share their work among visitors at the performance and emphasize the importance of South Jersey arts.

- The Barber of Seville - We are looking for 4-6 Visual Artists (including crafts) to the table before the show and during intermission on Friday, February 9, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM. The deadline to apply is January 14, 2024.
Show description: Rossini's IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA - composed at the age of 24, is considered the finest comic opera in existence! From start to finish it is marvelously crafted, brilliantly inventive, and uproariously funny. The libretto is based on Le Marriage de Figaro of Baumarchais. The setting is Seville in the 18th Century. Count Almaviva, a Spanish grandee, has arrived in Seville disguised as a poor student named Lindoro, in order to woo Rosina, the ward of the pompous Dr. Bartolo, who plans to marry her himself. Almaviva enlists the help of Figaro, the barber, in winning Rosina’s affections. Together they trick Dr. Bartolo and the Count marries Rosina.
- Break The Urban Funk Spectacular - We are looking for 4-6 Visual Artists (including crafts) to table before the show and during intermission on Friday, February 16, 2024 starting at 6:30 PM. Deadline to apply January 21, 2024.
Show Description: BREAK! The Urban Funk Spectacular traces the history of Hip Hop Dancing. It is an electrifying show for the whole family, featuring a high-energy tribute to this creatively charged American art form, which finds its roots in the inner city streets.
- Danú: Traditional Music of Ireland - We are looking for 4-6 Visual Artists (including crafts) to table before the show and during intermission on March 10, 2024 starting at 1 PM. Deadline to apply is February 11, 2024.
Show Description: Hailing from Counties Waterford, Cork, Dublin and Donegal in Ireland, Danú is one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles of today. Named Danu after the Celtic Goddess, the group have a strong ethos of loyalty to the tradition from which their music comes and yet still bring a fresh, inspiring approach to their performances.
- Evening with Fran Lebowitz - We are looking for 4-6 Visual Artists (including crafts) to table before the show and during intermission on Friday, April 12, 2024 starting at 6:30 PM. Deadline to apply is March 17, 2024.
Show Description: In a cultural landscape filled with endless pundits and talking heads, Fran Lebowitz stands out as one of our most insightful social commentators. Her essays and interviews offer her acerbic views on current events and the media – as well as pet peeves including tourists, baggage-claim areas, after-shave lotion, adults who roller skate, children who speak French, or anyone who is unduly tan.
- Puebla: The Story of Cinco de Mayo by Calpulli Mexican Dance Company - We are looking for 4-6 Visual Artists (including crafts) to table before the show and during intermission on Friday, April 26, 2024 starting at 6:30 PM. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2024.
Show Description: "Puebla: The Story of Cinco de Mayo" was conceived by Artistic Director & Co-Founder Alberto Lopez Herrera who sought to honor the culture of his birthplace in Puebla, Mexico. At the same time, he wanted to take advantage of the American celebration of Cinco de Mayo, and the many misconceptions about what it represents and why. Lastly, its retelling of the history is through our own eyes as Mexicans, Poblanxs, and immigrants.
