Educators: Your school group may be eligible for free transportation. If you are interested in applying, please contact the cultural organization whose program you would like to attend, and ask about the Bus Fund. The Bus Fund is a program of SJCA and is made possible by a grant from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. It is a needs based program to help school groups grades K-12 not able to afford the transporation costs to a cultural event during the 2007-2008 school year.
As well, your school group may be eligible for reduced admission if your schools needs financial help to be able to afford to attend a cultural event program. Please ask the cultural organization whose program you would like to attend and ask about the cultural admission fund. The admission fund is a program of the South Jersey Cultural Alliance and is funded by the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey.
SJCA Members: The Bus Fund is a program of SJCA and is made possible by a grant from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. This program will help you in marketing to schools that would like to attend your programs but are not able to afford the transportation costs.
When a school group would like to attend one of your educational outreach programs during the school day, but cannot afford the cost of transportation, assist them in applying for a Bus Fund subsidy.
