About the SJCA

SJCA is a member service organization composed of more than 125 artists, producers, exhibitors, and presenters in southern New Jersey, including museums, orchestras, chorales, dance companies, theaters, arts educators, artists and heritage organizations.

Our Mission

The mission of the South Jersey Cultural Alliance is to encourage the active participation of residents and visitors in the cultural life of southern New Jersey by strengthening the region's nonprofit cultural organizations through collaborative efforts in audience development, programming, advocacy and management. SJCA as "The Voice of Arts, History and Culture in Southern New Jersey," assumes a leadership role in promoting accessibility, long term growth and stability among southern New Jersey's presenting, producing and exhibiting institutions through cooperative efforts in the areas of funding, marketing, public relations, programming and administration.

Funding

Funding for SJCA comes from membership dues, grants, admissions and contributions from public and private sources (see below). The SJCA is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
